3M Microfoam is a soft, elastic medical foam tape that conforms in multiple directions. The 5 cm wide tape is intended to secure dressings on moving or uneven body areas and can also provide soft cushioning over sharp bandage edges.

For dressing fixation
Microfoam is suited to securing dressings on areas where movement or irregular body contours require a conformable material, such as around joints.
Do not stretch over bare skin
As with medical tapes, Microfoam should not be applied under stretch directly over exposed skin. Stretch may only be used over a dressing according to an appropriate professional technique.
Soft cushioning
The foam structure can cushion sharp splint or dressing edges. Check regularly that the skin and circulation remain comfortable.
