Choose space
Allow at least half the rope length plus clear movement and deceleration space from the anchor.
Anchor
Loop the centre around a smooth strong anchor or through a suitable battle-rope anchor; avoid sharp edges.
Technique
Begin with short intervals and controlled waves. Stop when posture, grip or rope control deteriorates.
